Man killed in New Orleans rollover crash

NEW ORLEANS ( WGNO ) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating a crash that left a man dead on Saturday, Nov. 16.

The NOPD reported the crash happened in the 900 block of Jackson Avenue around 9:48 p.m.

Legal dispute may cause problems for New Orleans Sanitation Department

NOPD officials said an initial investigation shows a man was driving north on Jackson Avenue when he veered left and hit the neutral ground and a tree. The car then reportedly flipped over, causing the driver to be ejected.

He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

The NOPD did not release additional information.
