Man rushed to hospital after being run over by vehicle on Northeast Side

SAN ANTONIO - A man was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being run over by a vehicle on the Northeast Side.
The incident happened after 6:30 Sunday evening near Northeast Loop 410 and Starcrest Drive.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, witnesses said a male in his 20s was walking East on the access road of 410 on the sidewalk, when he tripped and stumbled into traffic, and was run over by a vehicle.
The driver did stop and is cooperating with police. The incident is being treated as a non-criminal accident at this time.
