Man shot, killed inside Bronx apartment building: NYPD

NEW YORK (PIX11) – A man was fatally shot inside a Bronx apartment building on Wednesday, according to the NYPD.
The 26-year-old victim was shot in the neck around 8:30 p.m. in a building on Westchester Avenue in Melrose.

He was pronounced dead at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln.
Police officers entered the apartment building with a warrant and took seven people into custody, sources told PIX11 News. It's not confirmed if the seven people are connected to the shooting.
