Mansfield police investigating fatal shooting of teenager

MANSFIELD, Ohio (WOIO) - Mansfield Police are investigating the deadly shooting of a teenager early Sunday morning, according to a release. Mansfield Police said that officers responded to 459 S. Main St. around 2:36 a.m. for reports of a shooting. Officers found a 19-year-old man with a gunshot wound when they entered the residence, according to the release. The Mansfield Fire Department arrived on the scene and the teenager was pronounced dead. According to the release, the Richland County Coroner's Office will be sending the victim for an autopsy. Detectives are now working to determine what led up to the shooting and identify suspects, according to the release.
