argaret R. James, 87, of Meeker, died Sunday at the Fernwood Manor, Pikes
Creek, Lake Township, where she was a guest for the last month.



Born Aug. 29, 1912, in Hanover Township, she was a daughter of the late
Almon and Mary (Smith) Rod. She was a member of the Huntsville Christian
Church, Dallas.

She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.

Surviving are her daughters, Nancy Marr, Harford; Marlyn Marr, Lehman
Township; and Peggy Jennings, Light Street; five granddaughters and three
great-grandchildren.



The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral
Home, Inc., corner of Routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with the Rev. David
Mansfield officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial donations may be made to
Huntsville Christian Church.
