Mariah Carey was joined by her twins, Monroe and Moroccan, as they visited the Christ the Redeemer statue in new photos shared to Instagram on Saturday.

The Fantasy songstress, 55 - who performed a sold-out show in Sao Paulo weeks after the deaths of her mother and sister - flashed a cheerful smile as she posed with the 13-year-olds while stopping by Rio de Janeiro.

In one snap, the performer held her arms out as she paused underneath the statue which was lit up with lights after the sun had set.

Carey kept it casual wearing a white, knit button up as well as a cropped, leather jacket that was left unfastened at the front.

Mariah slipped into a pair of loose-fitting, patterned bottoms while a black, Louis Vuitton cap was placed on top of her long locks that were styled into a low ponytail.

A second image included in the post showed the star posing in between Monroe and Moroccan in front of the statue - whom she shares with ex Nick Cannon.

In the caption, Mariah penned to her followers, 'So grateful to finally visit Cristo Redentor while here in Rio with Roc and Roe! What a moment .'

Social media users jumped to the comment section to share their thoughts on the photos, such as fellow singer, Jennifer Hudson, who typed, 'You betta Look Good!'

Nick Cannon also shared, 'So Beautiful,' followed by a praying hands and red heart emoji.

One day earlier on Friday, Carey took to the stage to perform in front of a sold-out crowd in Sao Paolo - only three weeks after the tragic deaths of her mother, Patricia, and sister, Alison.

Mariah was radiant wearing a figure-hugging, red dress with ruched details and a thigh-high slit on the right side for a sultry flare.

She slipped into a pair of open-toed, gold heels and allowed her hair to cascade down past her shoulders in elegant curls.

During the special night, the star had other outfit changes, and donned a dazzling, silver gown as well as a colorful, shimmering ensemble as she belted out lyrics to hit tracks for the cheering crowd.

Late last month in August, Mariah announced the passing of both her mother, 87, and sibling, 63 - which occurred on the same day.

The singer said in a heartbreaking statement to People at the time, 'My heart is broken that I've lost my mother this past weekend. Sadly, in a tragic turn of events, my sister lost her life on the same day.'

'I feel blessed that I was able to spend the last week with my mom before she passed.'

In conclusion, the music artist added, 'I appreciate everyone's love and support and respect for my privacy during this impossible time.'

Alison's close friend, Dave Barker, told The U.S. Sun that Alison 'was on home hospice care for the last three weeks of her life.'

'She had issues with her 'internal organs' and Barker added, 'I have known her for nine years and as her friend and in recent months her carer I will miss her greatly...'

Carey notably had a strained relationship with her mother, Patricia, as well as her sister Alison - whom she later became estranged from.

Sources told TMZ that the Grammy winner did not reach out to Alison before her passing , and instead was by their mother's side in the week leading up to her death.

The sisters' estrangement was caused by Alison's years-long battle with drug addiction, the insiders informed the outlet.

After many attempts to help her sibling, Mariah made the decision to cut Alison out of her life in order to not be 'an enabler' - and put distance between the pair.

The star also has a brother, Morgan Carey, and their opera singer father, Alfred, passed away in 2002 at the age of 72. Mariah's parents split when she was three-years-old.

Mariah said in her 2020 memoir The Meaning of Mariah Carey that after extensive therapy, she decided to cease contact with both Alison and Morgan.

Along with her recent performance in Sao Paulo, the Obsessed singer is set to take to the stage once again in Brazil at the Rock in Rio Festival.

She will perform during the festival's final day on Sunday, September 22 - after the festivities initially kicked off on September 13.

Also on Sunday, other music artists that are set to perform include Shawn Mendes, Akon and also Luisa Sonza.

Earlier this week on Friday, Katy Perry performed jaw-dropping, aerial stunts at the Rock in Rio Festival - and Karol G also belted out tracks during her own set.
