Marjorie J. Casey, 65, Heather Highlands, Jenkins Township, died Friday,
Aug. 27, 2004 in the inpatient unit of Hospice Community Care at Mercy
Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. She was the widow of James W. Casey Sr.
She was born Oct. 25, 1938 in Wilkes-Barre. She was the daughter of the
late Fred and Elizabeth (Phillips) Wood. She was a graduate of GAR High
School. She was employed in the housekeeping department of Geisinger Wyoming
Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.
Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Flannery, Forty Fort; her son, James W.
Casey Jr., Wilkes-Barre; five grandchildren; several brothers and sisters;
nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Simon S. Russin Funeral
Home Inc., Plains.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society,
Wilkes-Barre or to Hospice Community Care, Kingston.
