Mary Baldini

Mary Baldini, 97, of West Pittston, passed away Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at Highland Manor Nursing Center, Exeter.

Born in Pittston Jan. 15, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Alphonso and Marina D’Elia.

She was a member of St. Joseph Marello Parish/Mt. Carmel Church, Pittston.

Mary was formerly employed at Main Pants Co. for over 40 years.

Mary loved her grandchildren, loved the Yankees and going to the senior citizens center.

Preceding in death were her husband, Joseph, in 1965; brothers, Ralph Daley, Anthony Daley and Michael D’Elia.

Surviving are daughter, Ann Andreoni, and her husband, Richard, Old Forge; grandchildren, Richard Andreoni and his wife, Amy, and Christopher Andreoni.

Funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Anthony Recupero Funeral Home, 406 Susquehanna Ave., West Pittston. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church with Rev. Paul McDonnell, O.S.J., officiating. Interment will be in West Pittston Cemetery. Friends may call Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions bay be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Memphis, Tenn.
