Maryland Snaps Spartans’ Streak

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Crystal Langhorne scored 28 points on 13-for-14 shooting, Kristi Toliver made four 3-pointers and top-ranked Maryland ended Michigan State’s five-game winning streak with a 97-57 victory Saturday.
Defending national champion Maryland (17-0) has won 23 straight and is off to the best start in school history.
Victoria Lucas-Perry led the Spartans (12-3) with 20 points and 6-foot-9 freshman center Allyssa DeHaan, the nation’s leading shot blocker, swatted away five shots before fouling out.
