Maryland-based Kelly Benefits has acquired Gettysburg Benefits Administrators.

Gettysburg Benefits Administrators was founded in 1979 and specializes in the needs of small businesses, and partners with agents and brokers throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York, West Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., to offer administrative, consolidated billing and benefit administration technology implementation services focusing on dental, vision, life, and disability insurance as well as worksite benefit solutions. The company also serves as an ancillary general agent in Connecticut and New Jersey.

Kelly Benefits was founded in 1976, and is a provider of benefits administration and technology, broker and consulting services, and payroll solutions. Headquartered in Sparks, Maryland, Kelly Benefits also has offices in the Greater Philadelphia and Washington D.C. areas.

"As a result of this acquisition, GBA is now equipped to offer our customers an enhanced array of resources, support and innovative solutions," Matt Crowner, president of the Gettysburg Benefits Administrators, said in a news release. "While the GBA brand will gradually change over time, we remain committed to delivering the same high level of service and solutions to our customers."

Crowner will retain leadership of the Gettysburg Benefits Administrators team and the management of day-to-day operations. The company's employees, services and headquarters in Gettysburg will remain the same.

The acquisition was announced last month. Terms of the agreement weren't disclosed.
