Mavericks vs Clippers Preview: Dallas tries to take two against Los Angeles

The Dallas Mavericks (10-5) are still in Los Angeles, this time playing the Clippers (6-8). For those who might’ve forgotten, the Mavericks whooped the Clippers on November 10th, 144-126. The Dallas players stayed in Los Angeles following their nail biting win over the Lakers on Wednesday evening. Here’s the important things to know:

Maxi Kleber is still out with his toe issue. Dereck Lively II is also out after his scary fall on Wednesday. Those are two of the four Mavericks bigs, which is more than a little concerning for a team that can’t protect the paint. On the Clippers side, Mason Plumlee is still out.

This would be a nice win for the Mavericks, but given their defensive issues and size problems I am not counting on it at the moment. Ahhh late night games.
