Mavericks vs Clippers Preview: Dallas tries to take two against Los Angeles
N.Nguyen3 months ago
The Dallas Mavericks (10-5) are still in Los Angeles, this time playing the Clippers (6-8). For those who might’ve forgotten, the Mavericks whooped the Clippers on November 10th, 144-126. The Dallas players stayed in Los Angeles following their nail biting win over the Lakers on Wednesday evening. Here’s the important things to know: WHO: Dallas Mavericks at Los Angeles ClippersWHAT: West Coast Road Trip, stillWHERE: Cypto.com Arena, Los Angeles, California:WHEN: : Bally Sports Southwest or NBAtv The injury report is somewhat bleak for Dallas, if only because of what it represents. Maxi Kleber is still out with his toe issue. Dereck Lively II is also out after his scary fall on Wednesday. Those are two of the four Mavericks bigs, which is more than a little concerning for a team that can’t protect the paint. On the Clippers side, Mason Plumlee is still out. There’s the longer preview here that Ben wrote last night. There’s also the gambling post (pound the over folks). It’s been a slower week in Mavs land just due to the Thanksgiving holiday and the NBA schedule, but here’s a ridiculous post on the “Body by Luka” we enjoyed getting up. Then there’s this post on Mark Cuban going on All of the Smok e that is worth your time if you want to be mad online. This would be a nice win for the Mavericks, but given their defensive issues and size problems I am not counting on it at the moment. Ahhh late night games. Thanks for hanging out at Mavs Moneyball, we’ll have stuff up after the game come hell or high water. At least I am not on the recap (though I am on stats... so if they don’t make sense, just know the newborn will be sitting on my lap).
