It's not the prettiest position but someone has to do it.

"I feel like at o-line there's no other position on the field like it and you just have a different mindset that you are going to beat the guy across from you every single play," Trefor Thomas, LCA senior right tackle, said.

"It's a tough position but once you can appreciate it, it's really an awesome thing to be able to do day in and day out," Brooks Kerwin, LCA senior left guard, said.

Day in and day out, this senior-led offensive line dominates on the field and they hope to do it together for a long time.

It's a thankless job, but one that four seniors take very seriously.

"Even though no one is going to credit us for it. If our offense does good, it's probably going to be probably because of us," Jake Darby, LCA senior right guard, said.

The boys upfront not only have shown their strong bond on the field but off it as well.

This may be their final season together in Lexington but the "big man brotherhood" will stay no matter where they go.

"I'm never going to forget my time with these guys. The thing I'm going to remember more than just those games is just the time in the locker room, senior dinner with these guys, and just hanging out outside of school," Thomas said. "You know these are my friends for life, these are my brothers and hopefully I'm going to keep in contact with them and continue to be friends with them."
