Meeting to discuss Austin-area workforce needs and earn-and-learn training - Austin Daily Herald
Area employers are invited to a Workforce Community Conversation event Oct. 8 sponsored by Minnesota Dual-Training Pipeline.
The event is 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Austin Public Library, 323 Fourth Ave. North East, Austin, MN 55912.
Attendees are invited to share their workforce challenges and successes, network with other business leaders and learn about Dual-Training Pipeline's innovative methods to address current and future workforce needs through its earn-and-learn, dual-training approach.
Dual training is employer-driven and provides employees the skills they need to succeed at work.
The Dual-Training team at the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry supports employers as they create or enhance competency based dual-training programs where workers receive a combination of related instruction paired with on-the-job training.
