Menifee schools host resource fair for families
Menifee families found community resources and enjoyed activities at a school district event.
The Menifee Union School District's Fall Family Resource Fair drew more than 150 guests Saturday, Nov. 2.
More than 20 organizations shared information about family support, education, health, wellness and other topics. Attendees received giveaways and prizes. Kids enjoyed pumpkin painting, arts and crafts and went through health screenings, a news release states.
Those looking for work also could apply for open school district jobs.
The annual event shows the district's "ongoing commitment to engaging families and connecting them with the resources and support they need," the release states. "By offering resources, services and activities in one convenient location, the event makes it easy for families to access the support they need to thrive."
