Metro Tech offers CDL Truck Driving Training classes

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Metro Tech in Oklahoma City is boasting a new training program geared for individuals seeking to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Metro Tech leaders say, the program is one of 14 other CareerTech entities partnering with Central Tech's Driving Training (TDT) program that continues to grow substantially statewide with a 99% placement rate.

  • Participants interested in the program can expect the following in the Metro Tech TDT program:

  • Road safety

  • Federal regulations

  • Hands-on driving experience

  • Instructors use a two-student-per-truck model

  • Testing conducted in-house,

  • Fees included in the program's cost

  • Upon graduation Metro Tech says, newly licensed drivers can earn a starting salary of $61,000 annually.

    According to Metro Tech, Central Tech, CDL Class A and B Truck Driver Training courses are now set to be held at the Metro Tech South Bryant Campus , 4901 S Bryant Ave, Oklahoma City, 73129.
