Miami gas prices fall again
This past week, the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in Miami fell another 11.6 cents, now averaging $3.10 per gallon as of Sunday.
According to the website GasBuddy, who surveys 1,690 stations in Miami, the average price of gasoline in Miami is 17.8 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and 38.4 cents per gallon lower than this time last year.
GasBuddy reported that the cheapest station in Miami was priced at $2.63 per gallon on Sunday, while Key Biscayne gas prices were among the most expensive at $4.49 per gallon.
Nationally, the average gas price fell 6.2 cents per gallon during the week, now averaging $3.27 per gallon.
"As millions of Americans gear up to hit the road for Thanksgiving, the national average is seeing its longest streak of declines in over a year, reaching a ninth straight week as gas prices fall to their lowest since January," said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy.
