Michigan football stays at third in CFP rankings
The latest installment of the College Football Playoff rankings are out with the Michigan Wolverines remaining at No. 3. Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan and Washington comprise the top four with Florida State and Oregon set as the first two out, the Huskies jumping the Seminoles this week.

The allegations surrounding the Michigan football program over an illegal on-site scouting operation have not affected the Wolverines in the rankings. Michigan is currently 11-0 on the season and coming off a tougher than expected, 31-24 win at Maryland. The regular season comes to a close Saturday against Ohio State in Ann Arbor ... should the Wolverines win the Big Ten East, the conference title game will take place Dec. 2 in Indianapolis.
Harbaugh won’t be on the sidelines Saturday, but he’s excited to see what his team can do without him.
“We are in position to be in position. That’s what we know,” he said. “We’re 11-0; they’re 11-0. Everything is, all focus and preparation is on this game, as it should be.
“... It’s all about this game. That’s where our focus is. Getting prepared. Getting ready to execute. I think our team is battle-tested and is going to be tough to beat. We’re looking forward to it.”
