Midwestern State soccer finds out seeding in 2024 NCAA tournament during selection show watch party

Midwestern State athletics hosted a watch party for the NCAA division II men's and women's soccer selection shows. Both Mustangs programs came together at Buffalo Wild Wings in Wichita Falls to watch their name be called in the bracket of the national tournament. Michael Meachum and his men's soccer team earned an auto-bid into the NCAA tournament after winning the Lone Star Conference tournament championship. As the draw was released, the Mustangs found out they earned the No. 2 seed in super region four. That placement comes with a first round bye and allows Midwestern to host a second round game at Stang Park. MSU will face the winner of Cal Poly Pomona and Westmont. Ryan Spence and the women's soccer team earned an at-large bid into the national tournament after finishing top four in the Lone Star Conference tournament. Midwestern State earned the No. 4 seed in the region, and matches up with Colorado Mesa in round one.
