Mike Tyson has landed the first blow on Jake Paul.

Tyson slapped Paul during their weigh-in on Thursday night, one day before the boxing legend and YouTube star-turned fighter are set to face off at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

The slap came as Tyson, who weighed in at 233 pounds, approached Paul, 220 pounds, for the final stare-down. Tyson unleashed an open-handed slap that connected with Paul's face.

The two were quickly separated by security as Paul played to the crowd, mocked Tyson and laughed at him.

Tyson's camp told ESPN that the former champion was sick of the trash talk and that he reacted to Paul "purposefully" stepping on his foot during the stare-down.

Tyson was escorted away while Paul yelled to the crowd: "It's personal now. He must die!"

The bout between Paul (9-1, 6 KOs) and the 58-year-old Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) was originally scheduled for July , but was postponed after Tyson became nauseous and dizzy on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles in May.

His representatives later attributed the episode to an ulcer problem, but Tyson said in August that he was ready to move forward with the highly anticipated bout set to air live on Netflix.

Coverage of the event begins on the streaming platform at 8 p.m.
