Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy is making a "self-care suite" available to students Tuesday to provide an escape from anxiety about the presidential election, according to The Free Press.

An email acquired by the publication from the school's Director of Student Engagement Jaclyn Clevenger reportedly informed students the suite would be available from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Students will reportedly have the opportunity to enjoy Lego, coloring and "milk and cookies" while visiting the suite.

"In recognition of these stressful times all McCourt community members are welcome to gather. . . in the 3rd floor Commons to take a much needed break, joining us for mindfulness activities and snacks throughout the day," an excerpt of the email reportedly reads.

The school did not respond to a request for comment from The National News Desk Tuesday asking it to confirm the reporting.

McCourt offers graduate degrees in data science, policy management and international policy, among others. The estimated cost of receiving a graduate degree from the school is $92,661 per year. The prestigious school is known for producing alumni who have gone on to hold jobs working in the Obama campaign and the U.S. House of Representatives, among others.

School administrators nationwide are taking student concerns into account when deciding how to handle the classroom environment in the wake of the contentious election. The Ethical Culture Fieldston School in New York City noted Election Day "may be a high-stakes and emotional time for our community" in an email announcing students could skip Wednesday classes, according to The New York Times.

The New York City school also reportedly plans to make psychologists available to counsel students.
