Mineola’s Pendergrass scores touchdown in Baylor win

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. (KLTV) - Former Mineola Yellowjacket Dawson Pendergrass found the end zone once again in Baylor's 49-35 win over West Virginia. Pendergrass' touchdown came in the fourth quarter. The sophomore put the game away with a 15-yard touchdown run to cap off an 8-play, 47-yard drive to put the Bears ahead 49-28 with 3:24 left in the game. Pendergrass finished the game with 11 carries for 68 yards and a touchdown. He also caught one pass for five yards. Pendergrass now has four rushing touchdowns on the year and has scored on the ground in each of the last three games. Baylor improves to 6-4 overall and 4-3 in the Big 12 conference. Baylor travels to Houston on Nov. 24 to face the Cougars.
