SCRANTON – College Misericordia’s women’s soccer team was in control from
the outset as it dominated Marywood 10-0 on Monday in its Pennsylvania
Athletic Conference opener.
The Lady Cougars put in 10 goals by nine different women and improved to
Emi Yorozu scored a pair of goals and registered an assist, and Janna
Elston, Cole Vennie and Carolyn Muller all had a goal and an assist.
MEN’S SOCCER
Misericordia 2, Potsdam State 2, OT
DALLAS TWP. – Terrence Mull and Sean Kraus scored for Misericordia in a
game played Sunday at Mangelsdorf Field. Potsdam scored twice in the final 17
minutes of regulation to tie the score.
Giovanni Tulino assisted on Mull’s goal. Kevin Franco made five saves in
goal for the Cougars (2-2-1).
