Mississippi State Interim Coach Greg Knox Led The Bulldogs Out Of The Tunnel On A Four-Wheeler For The Egg Bowl
As someone on Ole Miss -9.5, I’ve never been more certain a bet was completely fucked before the game even kicked off than seeing Greg Knox lead his team out of the tunnel on a four-wheeler. Mississippi State has the interim coach bump at home in a rivalry game and its interim coach does shit like this. There's a zero percent chance the Rebels cover now and a good chance they don’t win.
This is what every interim coach should be. Obviously every coach getting a chance like leading an SEC program is going to give it their all on the field, but in a season where a program's head coach has already been canned, you need to be somebody who can bring the juice and get the fellas fired up for their remaining games — not that motivation would otherwise be an issue in the Egg Bowl.
This rocks, though. If the Bulldogs win this one and become bowl eligible, I can't wait to see what Knox pulls out for that game. College football is so awesome.
