Monique Jones and Todd Hertzberg race ends in runoff

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Fayetteville residents living in Ward 4 can see the two top winners of the general election on the December runoff ballot.
Unofficial results show Monique Jones had 41.83% with 3,686 votes Todd Hertzberg had 41.61% with 3,666 votes. Arkansas law states that when multiple candidates have 40% there needs to be a 20% difference to avoid a runoff.
Incumbent mayor Lioneld Jordan and candidate Molly Rowan are also facing a runoff.
The general runoff election will be on Dec. 3. If you registered to vote by or before Nov. 3, you can vote in the runoff election.
