MOORESTOWN, NJ — Even in the era of online deals at your fingertips, the retail tradition of Black Friday reigns on. And Moorestown Mall is among the shopping centers nationwide that will open early.

Moorestown Mall will hold extended hours on Friday, operating from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Check out some of the available deals .

The mall is closed on Thanksgiving.

After Black Friday, Moorestown Mall will have the following schedule for the next several weeks:

Monday through Thursday:

Friday through Saturday:

Sunday:

Beginning Dec. 15, the mall will extend its hours for the holidays:

Dec. 15-16:

Dec. 17:

Dec. 18-23:

Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve):

The mall is closed on Christmas and will operate from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 26.

The Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT), which owns Moorestown Mall, urged patience at its shopping centers amid staffing issues this holiday season.

"PREIT appreciates shoppers’ cooperation and understanding as several retailers and restaurants enter the busiest time of the year short-staffed," the company said in a news release. "Those looking for seasonal employment to earn extra holiday income are encouraged to visit each mall’s website to view a list of positions available."

PREIT faces a critical juncture amid its longstanding financial turmoil, with the Philadelphia-based company owing $1.1 billion in debt payments by Dec. 10 that it cannot afford, according to recent filings submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The corporation, which also owns Cherry Hill Mall, is working with lenders to develop a restructuring plan. PREIT doesn't expect any service interruptions during restructuring negotiations or during any potential transactions.
