More Than 500,000 Manhattan Residents Have Voted So Far, BOE Says The polls are open until 9 p.m. Tuesday night, so if you're registered to vote and you haven't voted yet, there's still time.

NEW YORK CITY – Manhattan is making its voice heard - and the polls are still open.

More than 500,000 Manhattan residents had voted as of 6 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the NYC Board of Elections (BOE). There were about 1.1 million registered voters in New York County as of February 2024.

Approximately 2.2 million New Yorkers have voted across all five boroughs so far.

If you haven't voted yet, you have approximately two-and-a-half hours to do so. Polls are open until 9 p.m., and if you are in line at 9 p.m., you will be allowed to cast a ballot.

Many New Yorkers voted early this year: 1,089,328 across all five boroughs. That's on par with the 2020 election, when 1.1 million people voted ahead of Election Day – when the city was in the throes of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Unofficial results will begin posting at 9 p.m., per the NYC BOE.
