Morning fog, then partly sunny

Some pockets of thick fog have developed across North Texas this Thursday morning. The fog and clouds may linger around for much of the morning. As a result, we’ve had to lower the high temperature to the 60s for much of the area. Farther west, more sunshine is expected and as a result, highs will still manage to climb into the 70s.

Temperatures will be mild Friday despite a weak cold front arriving during the afternoon. This front will move through dry and only slightly drop temperatures for the weekend.

By Sunday, a storm system will approach from the west, contributing to scattered shower chances. The chance of showers will extend into Monday. The rain looks to be rather light with amounts generally less than a quarter of an inch.

Much of Thanksgiving week looks cooler and dry. Highs will range from the upper 50s on Tuesday, to the low 60s the rest of the week. At this time, Thanksgiving looks dry with a high around 63. Of course it’s still a week away so check back for any changes.
