Three people were shot in Canonsburg overnight, according to TribLive news partner WTAE .

The shooting happened just before midnight on Blaine Avenue, WTAE reported. Three people were taken to the hospital. Their injuries are not considered to be life-threatening, Canonsburg Police told WTAE.

Canonsburg police believe the shooting may be connected to shots fired call nearby from a few days ago.

Police continue to investigate. No arrests have yet been announced.

Medics took three people to the hospital after a three-vehicle crash inside the Liberty Tunnel on Thursday.

At 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Pittsburgh police, fire and EMS were dispatched to the collision, which was about 100 yards into the tunnel's inbound lane, said police spokeswoman Cara Cruz.

Two of the people had injuries considered to be minor, Cruz said, and one had moderate injuries.

Two vehicles were towed. The collision snarled traffic for a period of time.

Teen shot in Pittsburgh's Spring Hill neighborhood

A 15-year-old boy was shot in the leg early Thursday morning in Pittsburgh's Spring Hill neighborhood, said police spokeswoman Emily Bourne.

Police were dispatched at 3:45 a.m. Thursday to the 1100 block of Yetta Avenue for reports of a shooting, Bourne said. Officers found the 15-year-old on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his leg. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Police are continuing to investigate, Bourne said.

Crews fight hours-long fire in Clairton

A fire broke out at a building on Miller Avenue in Clairton on Thursday night, according to TribLive news partner WTAE.

Firefighters were called to the scene at around 8 p.m. It took hours to extinguish the fire.

There were no reported injuries. It's unclear what started the fire.
