Morningside and Northwestern make NAIA Football Playoffs

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) – The NAIA announced the field for the football post season with Morningside and Northwestern both qualifying.

Morningside already knew they were in by winning the GPAC Conference. The Mustangs are the 6th seed and have a first round bye and will host a second round game.

Northwestern is the 11th seed and received an "At-Large" bid and will have a first round bye.

Dordt, despite being ranked 16th in the country and whose only losses were close losses to Morningside and Northwestern, didn't make the post season field.

The first round of the NAIA playoffs are this upcoming Saturday.
