MORTON, Ill. (WMBD) — Four classes will be offered later this month to teach women more about self-defense.

According to their Facebook page, the Morton Police Department is teaming up with the Center for Prevention of Abuse to host another round of women's self-defense classes due to their popularity.

The classes will be at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Nov. 13 and Nov. 20 and are held at the Morton police station at 375 W. Birchwood St. Classes are limited to 12 people each session.

The classes will be used as a fundraiser, with a $10 donation suggestion by cash or check. All proceeds will go to the Center for Prevention of Abuse.

All ages are welcome, but they say you must have the ability to do vigorous training.
