Motorcyclist killed in high-speed North Las Vegas crash

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - A motorcyclist is dead after a high-speed crash with an SUV in North Las Vegas Thursday morning. According to the North Las Vegas Police Department, the crash occurred on West Carey Avenue and Revere Street. An initial investigation revealed that the motorcycle was traveling west on Carey, while an SUV was traveling east. The crash occurred when the SUV attempted to turn left onto Revere and collided with the motorcycle. The motorcyclist was ejected in the crash and died from his injuries. The SUV driver was also transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The intersection is currently closed in all directions. An investigation into the crash is also ongoing.
