The remarkable Rebels (9-2, 6-1), who overcame a 17-point deficit to beat Air Force 31-27 last week at Falcon Stadium, will host the MW championship game on Dec. 2 if they win their regular-season finale.

Saturday: Host San Jose State at Allegiant Stadium (1 p.m., MW Network)

The Spartans (6-5, 5-2) have won five consecutive games and can crash the championship party with a win in Las Vegas.

Saturday: At UNLV at Allegiant Stadium (1 p.m., MW Network)

The Broncos (6-5, 5-2) smashed Utah State 45-10 in Logan to get bowl eligible and suddenly have MW title hopes after firing head coach Andy Avalos on Nov. 13.

Friday: Host Air Force at Albertsons Stadium (2 p.m., FS1)

The Falcons (8-3, 5-2) have lost three consecutive games but can still play for a conference championship with a win on the blue turf.

Friday: At Boise State at Albertsons Stadium (2 p.m., FS1)

The Cowboys (7-4, 4-3), who finished 7-0 at home with a 42-9 pasting of Hawaii, will try to pick up their first road win of the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde season in Reno.

Saturday: At Nevada at Mackay Stadium (7 p.m., CBS Sports Network)

The Bulldogs (8-3, 4-3) appeared to be the team to beat in the MW a couple weeks ago before following up a 42-18 loss at San Jose State with a stunning 25-17 home loss to New Mexico in which the defense gave up 528 yards.

Saturday: At San Diego State at SnapDragon Stadium (8:30 p.m., FS1)

The Rams (5-6, 3-4) won the second annual Jay Norvell Bowl with a 30-20 home win over Nevada and can get bowl eligible with a win in Honolulu.

Saturday: At Hawaii at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex (9 p.m., Spectrum)

The Aggies (5-6, 3-4) also will be looking for a sixth win after getting blown out by Boise State.

Friday: At New Mexico at University Stadium (1:30 p.m., CBS Sports Network)

Jacory Croskey-Merritt rushed for 204 yards and two touchdowns and the Lobos (4-7, 2-5) had three drives of over 90 yards during their victory over the reigning champions inside a muted Bulldog Stadium.

Friday: Host Utah State at University Stadium (1:30 p.m., CBS Sports Network)

The Warriors (4-8, 2-5) made the Pokes’ offense look like the Miami Dolphins during the first half last week at War Memorial Stadium.

Saturday: Host Colorado State at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex (9 p.m., Spectrum)

The Wolf Pack (2-5, 2-9) will be looking to avoid a second consecutive 2-10 finish under head coach Ken Wilson when they welcome Craig Bohl and Co. to Reno.

Saturday: Host Wyoming at Mackay Stadium (7 p.m., CBS Sports Network)

The Aztecs (3-8, 1-6), who tried to leave the MW in the summer on the assumption that the Pac-12 was going to remain stable enough to expand, are alone in the basement where they belong.

Saturday: Host Fresno State at SnapDragon Stadium (8:30 p.m., FS1)
