Multiple juveniles arrested for fighting at Waterbury football game
WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — Five juveniles and one adult were arrested last night after engaging in and instigating a fight at a high school football game in Waterbury.
Friday night at 8:22, officers with the Waterbury Police Department were assigned to security detail for a high school football game when they witnessed a group of teenagers engaging in a physical altercation.
Officers quickly intervened and managed to separate all parties involved. Moments later, additional teenagers began instigating more fights and ignoring police commands to separate.
Those arrested include:
A 17-year-old male was charged with assault in the third degree, breach of peace in the second degree, interfering with police, and inciting a riot.
A 15-year-old male was charged with assault in the third degree, breach of peace in the second degree, interfering with police, and inciting a riot.
A 15-year-old male was charged with assault in the third degree, breach of peace in the second degree, and interfering with police.
A 16-year-old female was charged with breach of peace in the second degree and interfering with police.
A 15-year-old female was charged with breach of peace in the second degree and interfering with police.
Ginnellys Vazquez, 18, was charged with breach of peace second degree and interfering with police.
All arrested are Waterbury residents. Waterbury police are continuing to investigate this incident.
