Multiple subway lines impacted due to police investigation in Manhattan
NEW YORK (PIX11) — Service on several subway lines is disrupted because of a police investigation at the 72nd Street station in Manhattan, according to the MTA.
A, B, C, and D trains have severe delays in both directions. It comes after service was suspended in both directions for B and C trains.

Previously, Queens-bound A trains were also suspended while Bronx-bound A trains had limited service.
Police say they are canvassing the 72nd Street station for a suspect who allegedly ran into the subway system after shooting a man in the leg and shoulder near West 68th Street and Columbus Avenue. The shooting happened around 9:20 a.m.
Bus service in Manhattan was also impacted in the area near the shooting. Downtown M7 and M11 buses are not making stops between West 72nd Street to West 66th Street along Columbus Avenue.
