Municipal Waste Want to F*ck Up Your Weekend with Two Killer 25th Anniversary Shows

It's going to be one hell of a party down in Richmond, Virginia this coming April, as hometown boys and stage fucker-uppers Municipal Waste will be hosting a special weekend party to celebrate 25 years as a band. A quarter century of tearing people's face off and partying has passed, so naturally that means they're going to get their friends together for two shows.

The guys will absolutely be playing that last night, but they'll also be bringing some friends out to the shows. The first night will feature Annihilation Time, The Spits, Bat, Public Acid, and a surprise guest at The Broadberry. The second night will of course feature Municipal Waste, along with Toxic Holocaust, Midnight, Excel, and Enforced at The National.

Municipal Waste frontman Tony Foresta said he was super stoked to see how that weekend's panning out.

"We are very excited to be bringing something special to our hometown to celebrate 25 Years of The Waste. Honored to have so many of our friend's bands participating. This is just the beginning, more events/parties are to be announced shortly. It's going to be a long weekend!"

Guitarist Ryan Waste took a look back on the years, saying it's been a wild ride.

"Time flies by when you never slow down, but it's still hard to believe it's been 25 years. We're beyond psyched to have a lot of the bands we cut our teeth with, ones that inspired us, and a few that came along the way on board for this fest. It all started in Richmond, so there's no better place to celebrate."

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, October 11 at 10 a.m. EST. Local pre-sales will start this Wednesday.

In addition to those two dates, Municipal Waste also announced that they'll be playing a benefit concert for Sick Of It All's Lou Koller, who's currently fighting cancer. That show will take place on Saturday, November 23 in Irving Plaza. Other bands playing that show will be Vision of Disorder, Life of Agony, Killing Time, and Crown of Thornz.

Oh and don't forget their already announced tour dates with Kerry King and Alien Weaponry. You can find those dates below.
