Myrtle Beach apartment shooting leaves 1 man dead, another man wounded, report says
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Officers called to investigate a shooting Monday night at a Myrtle Beach apartment complex found one man dead from multiple gunshot wounds and another man who had been shot in the torso, according to a police report.
It happened at about 8:45 p.m. at the Willow Run apartments at 2000 Greens Blvd . Police initially said the incident was a shooting among roommates.
According to the report, arriving officers found a man crouching over another man on the second floor of the apartment. They immediately ordered the man and several other people who were inside the apartment to come downstairs.
Four people came down to ground level and were searched for weapons before officers brought a man downstairs to be treated by EMS for a gunshot wound to the torso, the report said.
Officers then entered the apartment and found a man dead from multiple gunshot wounds. Authorities have not released his name.
