Najee Harris reacts to Saquon Barkley‘s viral hurdle: ’That was crazy'

PITTSBURGH - The NFL world could not believe what they saw when Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley did a backward hurdle. Not only did that play go viral, but players from around the league poured in amazement at Barkley's move.

The Pittsburgh Steelers' running back, Najee Harris, is another player who could not believe what he saw. Harris is known for hurdling people, but that is going forward with momentum, not straight-up jumping over someone backward.

Harris gave Barkley all the props in the world, but it is not something that Harris would ever try doing himself.

"That was crazy," Harris said. "That was the play of the year. That was wild. To see a guy catch the ball in space ... jump over somebody backwards ... I'm never going to try that, but you know, just having that type of athleticism is freaky. I've always been a fan of Saquon. I'm not trying that, though."

Harris has successfully pulled off his own forward hurdle twice this year, once against the Las Vegas Raiders and again vs. the New York Giants. Still, it was nothing quite like what Barkley did on Sunday.
