Nash & Smash To Open MOCO Location By End Of 2024 Nash & Smash restaurant will open its first Montgomery County site before the end of 2024. It has locations in Laurel and Ellicott City.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Nash & Smash — the restaurant chain that offers fried chicken, Nashville-style sandwiches and smash burgers — plans to open its first Montgomery County location by the end of December.

The dining spot will be located at 10121 Colesville Road in the Woodmoor Shopping Center.

While construction began in the spring and signs went up this summer, an opening date was unclear. The MOCO Show reported Monday that the restaurant faced unexpected difficulties with its contractor.

"We are committed to bringing our restaurant to life and are currently planning to open before end of December," the owners told The MOCO Show.

"Our expertise lies in crafting mouthwatering fried chicken, wings, and strips, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor," the Nash & Smash website said about its menu offerings. "We take great pride in offering a diverse range of options, including delectable mocktails and irresistible cakes."

Smash burgers are available in various sizes, ranging from 3, 6, 9, to 12 ounces, allowing diners to customize their order according to their appetite. The chain said it sources ingredients locally to contribute to the growth and sustainability of local partners.

The chain currently has two locations in Maryland : 8450 Baltimore National Pike, Suite 140, in Ellicott City and 15101 Baltimore Ave, Unit 105, in Laurel.

Other sites in the works are in Columbia, Abingdon and District Heights.
