NBA Player Props: Best Bets for Wednesday (November 13)

Following a busy Tuesday, Wednesday's NBA betting slate is also packed, with 11 NBA matchups for us to dive into.

Here are some of the high-profile matchups for tonight, with injuries admittedly taking their toll on the intrigue in most of these:

DeMar DeRozan 25+ Points (+105) FanDuel

Phoenix Suns vs. Sacramento Kings, 10 p.m. ET

DeMar DeRozan is having a decent start to his first season with the Kings, and he has an excellent matchup against the Suns to go off tonight.

He has hit 25-plus points in six of 11 games so far this season, including a 34-point performance a couple games ago in this same exact matchup against the Suns.

He has missed this number in two of the last three games, though, with the Suns game being the only one he went over in that stretch, so this play is a little bit of a fade of recent results.

Luckily, this matchup is a great one for DeRozan.

Defensively, the Suns play a deep drop coverage when guarding the pick-and-roll (PnR), willingly letting players take pull-up two pointers from the midrange. They do not allow much at the rim or via corner 3-pointers, instead funneling shots to the midrange.

As a result, Phoenix allows both the most midrange and pull up two-point attempts in the NBA , and we all know this is DeRozan's bread and butter.

He leads the NBA in both of these categories, which is not a surprise to anybody who knows the 16-year veteran's game.

It is also not a surprise that he went off against the Suns the last time these two teams played, so let's hope he can do the same thing tonight.

DeMar DeRozan 25+ points (+105):

Victor Wembanyama 25+ Points (+105) Bet365

Washington Wizards vs. San Antonio Spurs, 8 p.m. ET

It has been a hit-or-miss start to the season for Wembanyama, but he seems to be coming along recently, and like DeRozan, he has a great matchup tonight based on his scoring profile.

Wembanyama has only scored 25 points in three games so far this season, so this is definitely not a hit-rate type of play. However, he has scored exactly 24 points two times in his last five games, so he is at least getting close.

He is also coming off his best game of the season, a 34-point night against the Kings on Monday, so hopefully he is going to go on a run here, especially in a good matchup.

Wemby is a balanced scorer, so it is not as though he gets the majority of his points in one way. For reference, he averages just under 20 points per game, and he does not average four points per game from any one specific set.

That said, the areas where he does score are all weak points of this Washington defense. He scores over 80 percent of his points in the following categories, and here is how the Wizards defend those play types:

There is no hiding from Wembanyama in this game, which makes him a great player to back against the Wizards.

Austin Reaves 3+ Made 3s (+110) FanDuel

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Los Angeles Lakers, 10 p.m. ET

For this one, we are not fading recent results in terms of made 3-pointers for Reaves, who has cashed this in three of his last four games despite not shooting an outlier percentage.

What we are doing with this play is backing his absurd 3-point volume over the past four games, which leads us to his 3-point prop in a juicy matchup against the Grizzlies.

Here are Reaves' 3-point attempts (3PA) in the last four games: nine, 10, nine, 10. After only attempting nine 3PA once in the first five games this year, he has now done it in four straight.

In those games he has shot 3-for-10, 2-for-9, 6-for-10 and 3-for-9 from 3-point land.

He only shot at an outlier rate in one of those games, but the volume (10 3PA) was what we love to see.

Unsurprisingly, Reaves leads the Lakers in catch-and-shoot (CnS) 3PA on the entire season, and that number has only gone up in his most recent games.

Tonight, he faces a Grizzlies team that allows a ton of CnS 3-point opportunities. As a matter of fact, they allow the most CnS 3PA in the entire NBA .

The last time these two teams played, Reaves attempted nine 3-pointers. While he only made two, we love those attempts, so we will gladly back him in this matchup.
