Nebraska men's hoops receives votes, team says it's "definitely not there"

None of you had this phrase on your bingo card:

Nebraska men's hoops will receive votes from the AP Top 25 at some point this season.

You wish it was, because you would be 20% closer to bingo. But, in all seriousness, that is a true statement.

It's awesome. It's great. It puts a smile on your face. But, Rienk Mast says his guys have not accomplished anything yet.

"Today's [Sunday] just good we got the win, but we got to realize we're definitely not there," Mast said. "7-0 definitely looks nice, but we're not where we need to be, heading into these tough games and conference play."

Tough games are on deck. No. 15 Creighton is next up, coming up on Sunday, Dec. 3. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m., inside Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln.
