New auto repair shop opens in Holland

HOLLAND MI - A West Michigan auto repair company has a new lakeshore service center.

Car Center Collision & Glass , 12255 Felch St. in Holland, currently employs five people and plans to hire more. The company has over 100 employees across all locations.

The Holland shop is the latest Car Center location in the region and first in Ottawa County. There are centers in Grand Rapids, Kentwood, Cedar Springs, Big Rapids, Greenville and Walker.

Car Center Holland, open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, hosted a ribbon cutting Sept. 19.

Services include scratch and dent repair from scratches, auto glass replacement and repair, OEM parts replacement, wheel alignment and suspension repair, and insurance claim assistance. Shuttle service and loaner vehicles also are available on request.

A representative from Car Center said the company recently purchased a site for a future Kentwood location.
