New Bern partners with Retail Strategies to boost attraction to the city
NEW BERN, N.C. (WNCT) — The City of New Bern has partnered with a leading national retail advisory firm to enhance its retail recruitment.
The collaboration is with Retail Strategies who will serve as an extension of New Bern's economic development team. It's hoped to attract new retail and restaurants to the city which can enhance quality of life for residents and visitors while increasing tax revenues.
Retail Strategies have already conducted a comprehensive study of the New Bern trade area that analyzed consumer behavior and identified retail needs from a data-driven prospective.
The partnership includes ongoing outreach to brokers, developers and expanding retailers. Retail Strategies will also represent New Bern at key retail real estate trade shows, enhancing the city's visibility among industry professionals.
