J.Martin2 hr ago

The Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (BCBP) has launched an official website aimed at streamlining access to information on immigration, customs, and tax-related services for the public. The website, available at , consolidates essential resources, including permit applications, regulatory guidelines, and required forms, all in one location.

The site's stated mission is "to protect our borders, collect revenue, and facilitate legitimate travel and trade" while striving "to be recognized as an efficient, effective, and innovative Customs, Immigration, and Biosecurity service."

Alongside offering forms and guidance, the website provides news updates about developments within the Bureau, enhancing public awareness of the agency's roles and responsibilities. Previously, users had to visit multiple offices across Malakal and downtown Koror for these services. The online platform now offers a streamlined alternative, aiming to save time and reduce the need for in-person visits.

Since its launch three months ago, the website reflects the BCBP's move toward e-government services, demonstrating the potential of digital solutions to improve service efficiency and customer experience.
