New Orleans woman charged with killing man in Mississippi

iss. ( WHLT ) – A New Orleans woman was arrested and charged with killing a man in Mississippi.

Pearl River County deputies responded to an address on Oscar Smith Road in Carriere on October 30 after they were notified that a body had been discovered.

Forrest County deputy charged in domestic violence case

The victim was identified as Clint Williams, of New Orleans. Deputies said he died from multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigators were able to establish a timeline and identified the date Williams had been killed. Deputies said the suspect was identified as Showanda Carter, of New Orleans.

On November 6, Carter was arrested and charged with murder.
