New restaurant moving into ex-Carmel’s site in Kettering

KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) — A brand new restaurant is expected to land where a popular Kettering restaurant once operated.

Troy-based Level MB Construction released a social media post Wednesday morning saying it is working to bring a new restaurant to 1025 Shroyer Road in Kettering. The building used to house Carmel's Mexican Restaurant, which closed in late 2023.

Level MB said it is working on a new roof and beginning the process to renovate the interior of the structure.

Three Birds Brasserie LLC currently has pending applications for liquor licenses, according to the Ohio Department of Commerce's Ohio Liquor Control records.
