A new clothing store has opened its doors in Erie's downtown arts district.

Statik Vintage and Up-Cycled Clothing celebrated its opening at their new location — 1307 State St.

The store was at a previous location for about a year and outgrew the property. Both co-owners said vintage clothing has recently been very trendy.

"There was a line to the corner almost and even more people came in after the original crowd, and we're just so grateful," said Adison Pirrello, co-owner of Statik.

"I'm excited to keep showing the local artists of Erie for our gallery wall or if anyone likes to make anything, we'd also love to have you at the shop and continue to show Erie's artists and talent," said Kaitlynn Kirk, co-owner of Statik.

Pirrello added that their clothes range from 80s to 90s street fashion to novelty tees, jackets and more formal accessories.
