22News Storm Team meterologist Brian Lapis speaks to Springfield Naturalists Club
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Weather and Climate Change were in the spotlight this Wednesday evening, with our very own 22news meterologist Brian Lapis leading a conversation about the impacts of a changing climate on our region.
This discussion was held at the first meeting of the year for the Springfield Naturalist Club at the Springfield Science Museum. Brian explained how climate change can impact infrastructure, water resources, potential disease vectors, and even the economy.
"We have naturalists here and people who are pretty informed about the climate, thanks to Brian and other professionals," said Springfield Naturalist Club President, Dave Gallup.
