Newsboys to perform in Bloomington in February
BLOOMINGTON — Christian rock band Newsboys will bring their worldwide Revival Nights tour to the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts, 600 N. East St., next year.
The genre-bending band is set to perform at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21. A ticket presale will start this Thursday, with a general public sale to begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, via Ticketmaster . Tickets start at $18.
Newsboys are known for hits such as "We Believe," "Magnetic," "Born Again" and "God's Not Dead," which has spawned a movie series of the same name, according to a news release.
The band has sold over 10 million albums across their 24 studio album recordings. They've achieved one RIAA double platinum and eight RIAA gold certifications, 33 No. 1 radio hits, four Grammy nominations, two American Music Awards nominations and multiple Gospel Music Association Dove awards, the news release said.
