Sports NFL Insider Reveals Jaguars Owner's 'Angry' Reaction To Week 3 Loss

After back-to-back close losses to start the 2024 NFL season, the Jacksonville Jaguars suffered a much more embarrassing defeat on Monday night. Trevor Lawrence and the Jags were on the receiving end of the Buffalo Bills' wrath, with Jacksonville getting blown out at Highmark Stadium, 47-10.

According to Jaguars reporter Demetrius Harvey, Jacksonville owner Shahid Khan was visibly frustrated after the loss, which isn't surprising to know. Any team executive wouldn't enjoy the sight of their squad getting smashed to smithereens just like what the Bills did to the Jaguars from start to finish of the contest. However, Harvey also noted that Khan was "angrier" than usual.

The Jags played like they had no business sharing the field with the high-powered Bills. Buffalo compiled 388 total yards of offense to just 239 by the Jaguars, who also turned the ball over twice and went just 2-for-13 on third downs. The Bills had a walk in the park offensively, going 6-for-11 on third downs and converting four of their five attempts in the red zone. If anyone needed a visual of the difference between a great and bad team, they certainly got that by watching this contest.

Whether Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson is on the hot seat or not, Jacksonville clearly needs to stop its bleeding before it's too late.

Week 4 will see the Jags take on the Houston Texans on the road.
