• Drew Brees, Saints, threw for 445 yards and three touchdowns without an interception in a 41-24 pounding of Jacksonville.
• Brett Favre, Packers, threw for 360 yards and a pair of touchdowns, the second a go-ahead 60-yarder to Greg Jennings in the fourth quarter of a 33-22 win over the Chiefs.
• Jon Kitna, Lions, threw for 252 yards and a pair of touchdowns in a 44-7 win over Denver. He hasn’t thrown an interception since Week 5 against Washington.
• J.P. Losman, Bills, returned to the starting lineup to throw for 271 yards and a touchdown in a 33-21 win over the Bengals.
• Derek Anderson, Browns, threw for 364 yards on 29 completions in a 33-30 win over Seattle in overtime.
• Adrian Peterson, Vikings, ran for an NFL-record 296 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-17 win over San Diego. Peterson had rushed for only 133 yards total the past two weeks after running for 224 against Chicago in Week 6.
• Clinton Portis, Redskins, ran for 196 yards and a touchdown in a 23-20 overtime victory over the Jets. He carried five times for 37 yards to set up the winning field goal.

• LenDale White, Titans, ran for 100 yards and a touchdown in a 20-7 win over Carolina. White has gained at least 100 yards rushing three straight weeks.
• Ron Dayne, Texans, ran for 122 yards and a touchdown in place of injured Ahman Green in a 24-17 victory over Oakland.
• Reggie Bush, Saints, ran 17 times for 72 yards and a touchdown while catching seven passes for 43 yards and another score in a 41-24 win over Jacksonville.
• Joseph Addai, Colts, ran for 112 yards and caught five passes for 114 yards and a TD in a 24-20 loss to New England. He’s the first player in franchise history to eclipse 100 yards rushing and receiving in a single game.
• Randy Moss, Patriots, grabbed nine passes for 145 yards and a touchdown in a 24-20 win over previously unbeaten Indianapolis. His 12 TD catches is tied with Stanley Morgan for the Patriots’ single-season record.
• Lee Evans, Bills, caught nine passes for 165 yards and a touchdown in a 33-21 victory over the Bengals.
• Marques Colston, Saints, caught 10 passes for 159 yards in a 41-24 win over the Jaguars.

• Antonio Cromartie, Chargers, returned a missed field goal an NFL-record 109 yards for a touchdown in a 35-17 loss to Minnesota.
• Shaun Suisham, Redskins, was perfect on five field goals, the last a winning 46-yarder in overtime of a 23-20 victory over the Jets.
• Leon Washington, Jets, returned the opening kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown in a 23-20 overtime loss to the Redskins. He became the first Jets player to return at least three kickoffs for scores in a season, and is the 11th player in NFL history to accomplish the feat.
• Glenn Holt, Bengals, returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown in the final two minutes of the second quarter, but Buffalo went on to win 33-21.
• Maurice Jones-Drew, Jaguars, returned a kickoff a Jacksonville-record 100 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter of a 41-24 loss to New Orleans.
• Charles Woodson, Packers, returned an interception 46 yards for a touchdown with 59 seconds left, ending the Chiefs’ comeback bid in a 33-22 victory.
• Shaun Rogers, Lions, had 2 1/2 sacks, and the 340-pound defensive tackle also returned an interception 66 yards for a touchdown in a 44-7 win over the Broncos.
• David Harris, Jets, had 24 tackles, 20 solo, making his second NFL start in a 23-20 overtime loss to the Redskins.
• Albert Haynesworth, Titans, had seven tackles, with three sacks, in a 20-7 victory over Carolina.
The Vikings’ Adrian Peterson set an NFL record with 296 yards rushing in a 35-17 win over the Chargers. It’s the second time he’s topped 200 yards rushing this season, the only rookie to accomplish the feat. His 1,036 yards rushing this season puts him on pace to smash Eric Dickerson’s rookie record of 1,808 yards set in 1983. ... The Chargers’ LaDainian Tomlinson passed Jim Brown for fourth place on the NFL’s list for touchdowns rushing with 107. ... Brett Favre has now beaten all 31 other teams after Green Bay’s 33-22 win over Kansas City. Peyton Manning and Tom Brady accomplished the same feat a week earlier. ... The Bills’ Rian Lindell has made 235 consecutive extra points, setting the NFL record for longest streak to open a career. ... The Chargers’ Antonio Cromartie returned a missed field goal an NFL-record 109 yards for a touchdown. There were three 100-yard returns (Leon Washington, Jets, 100 yards; Glenn Holt, Bengals, 100 yards) in the same day for the first time since 1958. ... The Lions’ Jason Hanson kicked three field goals and became the 11th player in NFL history to score 1,600 points, moving past ex-Lion Eddie Murray on the career scoring list.

Buffalo held woeful Cincinnati to only 28 yards on 17 rushing attempts in a 33-21 victory. ... Jacksonville and New Orleans combined for 970 yards of total offense in the Saints’ 41-24 victory. ... Arizona managed only 195 yards of total offense in a 17-10 loss to Tampa Bay. Edgerrin James had 15 yards on nine carries. ... The Patriots committed 10 penalties for 146 yards, while the Colts had only four for 25 yards. ... Detroit’s 41-7 win over Denver was its biggest since beating Jacksonville 44-0 in 1995. Atlanta’s Joey Harrington completed 14 of 25 passes for 138 yards and an interception. Not to be outdone, Alex Smith was 17-of-38 for 149 yards and three interceptions for the 49ers. ... The Titans were flagged for a season-high 10 penalties for 89 yards, with 30 yards coming from unnecessary roughness penalties on the same Panthers drive. But they beat Carolina 20-7.

Vikings QB Tarvaris Jackson was carted off the field with a concussion in the second quarter against the Chargers. San Diego DB Quentin Jammer and DL Luis Castillo were also injured. ... Chiefs RB Larry Johnson was helped off the field after hurting his right ankle in the fourth quarter against the Packers. ... Texans DB Dunta Robinson left on a cart in the first quarter against Oakland, injuring his right knee when a teammate hit him from behind. ...
